Firstly, looking at the pictures i lacked any inspiration, i was thinking jeez making a film about these seemed pretty hard. so i sat at home thinking that cant be the case i got it the wrong way round, im meant to be merely taking inspiration from the pictures. so im looking round the pictures and notice like the little origami horse or unicorn or whatever it is, and im like, yo i can just use paper? so i came up with two ideas:
1. The first one will be about an evening which this scale man made completely out of paper, lives in a paper house, has a paper ID everything, but lives in like a normal world, hangs out with his mates everything basically. but his 2D self just goes out for a night on the town its sort of a comedy drama, if not a bit dark hopefully. maybe a bit morbid, hopefully this will be quite a fast paced film with quick editing and music ill compose my self saves on royalties. however to make this film im gonna have to make multiple carboard cutouts, cover them in paper and draw the character, sounds like fun but i goto manage my time alot better than i have in the past.
2. My second idea is a bit more difficult, is to produce a narrative or maybe a tale, but im going to fix up a scrolling rig and in one cut hopefully produce a film thats made completely by light shining onto a wall through cut outs in the time line paper, this is the idea i have shined to alot better but i havent decided on a narrative ive just looked more into the physical side of doing things and i think i have decided a way of doing it. i like this idea better, it should be a bit more technical and will need less editing, i also think its quite an original idea.
so just lemme know what you think, i got some drawings but the scanners buggered, watch this space.

Then second one sounds really interesting.
I know it's not the same thing, but you can do really cool things with thin slits of light over smoke or mist in an otherwise dark room. It'd be hard to set up, but the effect is a solid wall of light.
Here's what I mean: http://proletec.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/mccall-22.jpg
Anthony McCall is an artist that uses that technique to make "sculptures"
